
| 8 Butterfinger Candy Bars 8 graham cracker squares 4 large marshmallows, halved Directions: PREHEAT broiler. PLACE 1 Butterfinger candy bar diagonally on top of each graham cracker square; top with marshmallow halves. Place on baking sheet. BROIL for 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows are lightly browned. Serve warm. |
| Ingredients for Great Cookies 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 pkg. (4 serving size) instant vanilla, butterscotch or chocolate pudding mix 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 large egg 1 large egg white 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels Directions: PREHEAT oven to 350° F. COMBINE flour and pudding mix in small bowl. Beat butter in large mixing bowl on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Beat in brown sugar and baking soda until well combined. Beat in egg and egg white. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. BAKE for 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool on baking sheets 2 to 3 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. |

| Banana On A Stick 1 banana 2 craft sticks vanilla yogurt cookie crumbs or graham cracker crumbs -- crushed Break the banana in half. Push a craft stick into the flat end of each banana half. Spread the banana halves with yogurt. Then roll them in crumbs. |
| Dinosaur Eggs Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time 2-6 oz pkgs lime gelatin powder 2 1/2 c. boiling water 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 cup cold milk 1 3.4 oz pkg instant vanilla pudding mix In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Stir in cinnamon. In a large measuring cup beat milk and pudding mix until blended, about 1 minute. Quickly whisk into gelatin until smooth. Pour into a 13x9-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm. Cut into ovals or use an egg-shaped cookie cutter. |
| FUN RECIPE'S AND THINGS TO MAKE |


Homemade Play Dough 1 c Flour 1/2 c Salt 2 tb Cooking oil 2 tb Cream of tartar 1 c Water with desired color of food coloring Cook the above mixture over medium heat stirring until stiff. Cool and knead out lumps Store in airtight container. MACARONI PICTURES Have various shapes of pasta to choose from. Let children glue these onto colored paper for creative pictures. PLACE MATS Let children draw their own pictures on fairly heavy paper. Use clear contact paper to cover the front and back of the drawing. They now have their own personal placemat. These make fun presents for Mom and Dad for special occasions. ARGO DO-IT YOURSELF CLAY THAT'S SAFE FOR KIDS 2 cups baking soda 1 cup Argo Corn Starch 1 1/4 cups water Mix cornstarch and baking soda, add water, mix. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Thicken to consistency of mashed potatoes. Form clay into desired shapes, let dry for 36 hours, color with paint or felt-tip marker, and coat with shellac or clear nail polish. CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENTS 1 cup cornstarch 2 cups baking soda 1 1/4 cups cold water Mix and cook over medium heat stirring constantly about 4 minutes or til mixture thickens into a moist mashed potato-like consistency. Cover with a cloth while it cools enough to knead it. Roll out dough and cut into shapes using a straw to put a hole in the top for a ribbon to hang on the Christmas tree. Dry 24 hours. Paint with tempera paints. FINGER PAINTING For young children, prepare instant chocolate pudding and let them do creative finger painting with no danger. Tasty too! PAPIER MACHE Dry laundry starch cold water Mix the starch and water in equal amounts. Stir completely. Let stand. This will thicken. Tear newspaper or tissue paper into strips. Dip these strips into mixture. Shape over a balloon or into a mask shape, figures, animals, etc. Let dry 3 days or so, depending on thickness. Paint with acrylic paints. |

| Bananas On A Spit Recipe Ingredients: 4 bananas Corn syrup Chopped walnuts Peel the bananas and cut each in half across the middle. Thread each half on a 6 inch wooden skewer. Roll each in a plate of corn syrup, then a plate of chopped walnuts. Transfer to a small piece of aluminum foil and roll up, twisting the ends. Place on the lower grill over low heat, turning a couple of times, for 5 minutes. CHILDREN LOVE THESE! |
