ATTRACTIONS!
Sis-Q Ranch has been in operation as a group camp facility since the late
60’s (I call it the best kept secret in the county).  We started as a “dude
ranch”  where children, usually from the cities, would come to ride horses,
go fishing, sleep in tp's  and do the general things a kids camp would
offer.  Then in the early 70 we expanded to include a martial arts camp for
adults.  The programs continued to be very successful until the insurance
for horses skyrocketed and it became un-feasible to run a horse program
hence we had to fold the kids program.  It was re established in the early
80 as a “kids martial arts camp” and both programs have continued to
this date.
We also cater to any other group who might want use of our facilities.  We
have had bicyclists, rafting groups (we have river front property on the
Scott), Wilderness First Responder (WFR) courses, continuing education
classes for chiropractors and many others.  The number one comment
we get from people is that it is tremendously beautiful here and to do what
ever activity they are doing it is so nice to do in such a peaceful and
spectacular setting.
